Why I'm Running

I have been encouraged to run by community members and leaders who often share their concerns about the county budget, healthcare, infrastructure, public safety, and general quality of life in Imperial County. I believe it is time the board is represented by a more inclusive range of voices. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to be a strong advocate for this community and address their concerns by bringing a fresh perspective to the County Board of Supervisors, which has not had a woman representative for over 30 years.

The Board of Supervisors has a critical responsibility to ensure we’re all working together to expand opportunities, promote well-being, and improve lives in our communities. I look forward to bringing this collaborative approach to the Board.
